The Bible tells us we are all a part of the body of Christ.  I was recently thinking about how computer networks operate and the Lord brought to my mind that as Christians, we are all networked with Him and other Christians.  That network is linked by the Holy Spirit.  We are all true brothers and sisters in Christ.

If you want to be a part of this powerful network for good in the world and you are not a Christian yet, accept Christ into your heart as your Lord and Savior.   Confess your sins and ask for forgiveness.  If you have sinned much in your life you will feel the enormity of this great gift -- your sins washed away, erased for all time and eternity.

If you have made a mess of your life or you are feeling empty inside, now is the time to set things straight.  You feel empty inside because humans are made by our creator with a space for the Holy Spirit to reside in us.  If you are not a Christian that part is unfilled.  That emptiness is felt deep in your soul.  Our spirits long for that presence of the Holy Spirit -- a part of God residing in us.

By accepting Christ you will chart a new path to a happier, more fulfilled life.  Also, no person knows when his or her time will come to leave this world.  Be ready to spend eternity in heaven with the Lord and other Christians.

Here are some comforting words by Paul the Apostle:

"Overwhelming victory is ours through Christ who loved us enough to die for us.  For I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from his love.  Death can't, and life can't.  The angels won't, and all the powers of hell itself cannot keep God's love away.  Our fears for today, or worries for tomorrow, or where we are--high above the sky, or in the deepest ocean--nothing will ever be able to separate us from the love of God demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ when he died for us."

Romans 8:37-39
